Kevin Currie | AAS, SUDP - Clinical Director
Kevin is a chemical dependency professional licensed in the state of Washington. He has an Associate's Degree from Highline Community College. His passion to help people who struggle with addictions comes from his personal experiences as well as a deep desire to serve others. He is an engaging, energetic and compassionate individual. Kevin has 11 years of experience in the field of chemical dependency counseling and likes to refer to himself as a "thought provoker." kevin@serenity-counseling.com
Karen Myrick | Owner/Administrator
Karen is a graduate of the Business College Technical Institute. She is the administrator of Serenity Counseling Services as well as the Director of Fiscal, Human Resources and Marketing. Karen has over 17 years of experience in sales and over 12 years of experience in business administration in the emergency medical field. karen@serenity-counseling.com
Joseph Myrick | LICSW , MSW, SUDP
Joseph is a Chemical Dependency Professional who received his Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington. His clinical emphasis is on cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and dialectical behavioral therapy. He has 20 years of experience in chemical dependency counseling and is a licensed independent clinical social worker with the State of Washington. joseph@serenity-counseling.com
Phyllis Wooddell | Administrative Assistant
Phyllis has been with Serenity Counseling Services for 18 years. She brings warmth and charm to our front office. Her duties include managing scheduling, billing and insurance issues with patience and grace. Enjouli Steward | BA, SUDP
Enjouli is a Substance Use Disorder Professional and a Domestic Violence Professional licensed in the state of Washington. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Evergreen Community College and her passion is to help rebuild and empower individuals while tackling root issues in the recovery process. She believes in a holistic, creative and engaging approach to recovery. Cherrielee Matthews | BA, SUDPt
Cherrielee has been in the helping field for the past 13 years working in Homeless Outreach, Residential Treatment, and Behavioral Health Services. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. She is currently fulfilling training hours for her Substance Use Disorder Professional license, while working with our Early Intervention clients and facilitating monthly groups. Due to her creativity and passion for marketing, she recently took on the role of managing our social media and online presence here at Serenity. Every third Saturday, we offer an 8-hour class on Alcohol & Drug Information School (ADIS) and Victim's Impact Panel (VIP). Extended weekend hours available as well.
